Vidhata Mobile Zone

Vidhata Mobile Zone is situated in M P Nagar near C.P. Tank. It’s a very traditional part of the city with old buildings. The streets are busy and there are always people moving about with bags and carts. Our shop is tucked in there among many others. We focus on mobile phones, both selling them and fixing them when they break. We have a big glass counter where we show the different models to anyone who stops by. It’s always a bit of a squeeze when more than three people are inside at once because the shop is narrow. We’ve got posters of phones on the walls that are a few years old now, but they still look okay. The workbench is in the corner where the light from the street is good. We spend hours there with small screwdrivers and tweezers working on circuits. It’s quiet work even though the street outside is very loud with traffic. Sometimes we get people coming in just to ask for directions since we are in such a well-known spot near the tank. We don't mind helping out. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time. The building is sturdy and has survived many heavy monsoons. We keep a regular routine, opening at the same time every morning. We don't have any big corporate rules, we just run the place how we think is right. It is a regular way to spend the day for us.
