Vayalveli Iyarkai Kalanchiyam

We're located in Chembur, on Tilak Road in Lane 107, near Grahak Peth. Vayalveli Iyarkai Kalanchiyam is a mouthful of a name, but it’s just our local shop. We focus on natural things, so the shop usually smells like herbs or grains. It’s a quiet lane compared to the main road. We don’t have any fancy marketing. Most people just find us because they live nearby or heard about us from a neighbor. Chembur has a lot of trees and is a bit quieter than some other parts of Mumbai, which suits us just fine. Our shop is a modest space where we keep a variety of products. Since the name is about nature and fields, we try to keep the atmosphere inside quite calm. We don't have bright neon lights or loud music playing. Instead, it’s just the sound of the ceiling fan and the occasional customer coming in to browse. The shelves are made of simple planks and we spend a good amount of time just dusting them and rearranging the bottles and bags. Sometimes the delivery truck gets stuck in the narrow lane, and we all have to go out and help carry things in by hand. It’s a bit of a workout. We aren't experts in everything. We just know our products and we tell people the truth about what we have in stock. The neighborhood is friendly, and we often have people just stopping by for a chat.
