Guru Kripa Traders

We’ve been running Guru Kripa Traders out of this spot on Dr. Ambedkar Road in Dadar for a good many years. Being in Mumbai-14 means we are right in the middle of everything. Our place is in the Om Sat Nivas building, unit 12. It’s not a large space, but it’s enough for what we do. Trading is mostly about keeping track of stock and making sure people get what they ordered on time. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the traffic near Dadar station, which is always a nightmare. We just have to explain it to the customers and hope they understand. We don don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy letters for us. We just write down what we have and sell it at a fair price. My desk is usually covered in old receipts and notebooks because I still like writing things down by hand. It’s just how I learned. The building is old and the stairs creak a bit, but it feels like home to us. We know most of the other shopkeepers around here. We talk about the weather or the price of things while we wait for the day to end. It’s a simple life. We don't try to be something we’re not. We just open the doors in the morning, do our trading work, and go home when the sun goes down. It’s what my family has always done here.
