Sudesh Farms

You can find us at 413 on the 40 Feet Road, over in the 1st stage of Phase II in Kandivali East. It’s a bit of a trek for some people to get out here, but it’s where we’ve had our base for a while now. We deal with farm products, so there is usually a bit of dirt on the floor and the smell of fresh produce in the air most mornings. We don’t have any big corporate setup or fancy offices. It’s mostly just us and the supplies we need to get through the day. We spend a lot of time coordinating with the actual farm sites and making sure things are ready to be sent out to customers. The phone rings a lot, usually with people asking about what’s in stock or when the next batch of goods is coming in. We try to keep it simple and just give them straight answers. The space we have is mostly for storage and a small area where we sit to handle the bookkeeping. Sometimes the power goes out in this part of Kandivali, which makes things a bit tricky for the computers, but we just use torches and keep going. It isn't a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. We see the same faces every week, mostly local vendors and regulars who have been buying from us since we first started. We don’t bother with fancy brochures or social media. We just focus on the work and getting things done.
