Kalpana Furniture

You can find Kalpana Furniture over at the Regal Complex on Link Road. We’ve got Shop No. 33 and 34, so we have a bit of space to show some of the pieces we have in stock. We’re right near Vidya Mandir School, so the area gets really packed with parents and kids when school lets out in the afternoon. Link Road is always busy anyway, so there’s constant noise from the traffic out front. We spend most of our time moving chairs and tables around to make everything fit in the shop. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and sometimes we get a bit dusty from the work. We’ve been in this spot for a long time and have seen shops around us come and go. Our shop isn't some high-end gallery, it’s just a place where we keep furniture for people in the neighborhood. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work on the displays. Some days we are busy putting things together, and other days it’s just us sitting by the entrance waiting for someone to drop by. We handle everything ourselves, from the unloading to the selling. It’s a simple business and we try to keep it that way. If you’re passing by Regal Complex, you’ll see us there amongst the wardrobes and sofas.
