Our workshop is located right on 90 Feet Road in Sakinaka. If you know Andheri East, you know how crowded it gets around here. We’ve been at this address for a bit, making all sorts of chairs and tables. Make My Furnitures is really just a group of us who enjoy working with wood and fabric. The shop is usually dusty from the sanding, and there’s always someone hammering something in the back. It’s not a quiet place. We don't spend money on fancy showrooms because we'd rather just show the work we're doing right now. People stop by all the time from the street to see what’s being built. Sakinaka is a loud place, lots of traffic and noise, but it's central for getting materials. We source our wood locally when we can. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the mess on the road, but we deal with it. We do a lot of custom stuff, so no two days are really the same. One day it's a bed frame, the next it’s a kitchen cabinet. We don't use big fancy machines for everything; a lot is done by hand with regular tools. It takes time. We aren't trying to be the biggest furniture place in Andheri, just a reliable one. If you walk down 90 Feet Road, you’ll probably hear us before you see us. We stay busy and keep the saws running. It’s just how we make a living.
