Unique Furniture

Our workshop is located at Gala No. 3 in the A. K. Estate. It is on Kherani Road in Andheri East, which is always packed with traffic and people moving everywhere. If you look for the Rahat Hotel, you are getting pretty close to where we are tucked away. Unique Furniture is a busy place with a lot of sawdust in the air and the sound of hammers. We are always cutting wood, sanding down rough surfaces, and putting things together by hand. The estate is full of other small businesses, so there is a constant sound of machines and people shouting to be heard over the noise. It is a bit of a tight squeeze in the gala sometimes, especially when we have a few big tables or heavy cabinets being built at once. We aren't a big showroom with bright lights and fancy furniture displays. We are just a workshop where things actually get made by real people. The smell of wood polish and fresh timber is everywhere you go. Sometimes the deliveries get delayed because Kherani Road is so congested with trucks, but that is part of working in Andheri. We have our regular customers who know where to find us in the back of the Loyalka Compound. It is hard work, and your back usually hurts by the time we finish, but it is what we do. We just focus on the piece of wood in front of us and try to do a decent job.
