You can find Varma Industrial Safety Appliances over at Office Number 5/52 in the Sahayog Building. We are right in the Fort area, which is one of the oldest and busiest parts of town. Our office is directly opposite the G.P.O. on Mint Road. If you know that area, you know how crowded it gets with pedestrians and traffic. The Sahayog Building is an older structure with those high ceilings and thick walls. We are on an upper floor, so you have to walk up some stairs to reach us. Inside, it’s a bit cramped because we have so many industrial safety items stored everywhere. There are boxes of gloves, helmets, and other gear stacked almost to the ceiling. It’s a very busy environment. The sound of horns from Mint Road never really stops. We spend our time answering calls and checking on shipments. We’ve been in Fort for a long time, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Despite the chaos outside, we keep a pretty steady rhythm inside the office. We usually have a radio playing somewhere in the background to drown out the traffic. It’s a real working man’s office—no fancy furniture, just what we need to get the job done. We take our lunch breaks when things get quiet, usually grabbing something from a nearby stall. It's a simple way to spend the day, just staying busy until it's time to head home.
