S.S. Plastic

S.S. Plastic is situated in Katha Bazaar, specifically at Building No 371/373 on Narshi Natha Street. The bazaar is always crowded with carts and people carrying bags. It is a narrow street, so getting things in and out can be a real headache sometimes. Inside our space, we have rolls and sheets of plastic stacked all the way to the ceiling. I spend a lot of time measuring and cutting things to size for customers. The air smells a bit like new plastic, which I don't mind. We have been here for a long time, and the building shows its age a bit. The walls have some marks and the floor is uneven in spots. It’s a family-run kind of vibe here. We know the other shop owners on the street and often share news over a quick break. Sometimes it gets so busy we barely have time to sit down. We don't have a website or anything like that, just our presence here in the market. People come to us because they know where we are and that we have what they need. We just try to keep the inventory organized so we don't lose track of anything in the piles. It’s a lot of manual labor but it keeps us going day after day. We just focus on the orders in front of us.
