Hari Om Traders

So, we are up here on the 3rd floor of this building on Samuel Street. If you know this part of Masjid, you know how busy it gets every single morning. We have been here for a while now, just doing our daily thing with the trading work. It is not a fancy place, mostly just stacks of stuff and people moving in and out all day long. The stairs are a bit narrow and steep, so it takes some effort to get up here, especially when it is hot outside and the air is thick. We usually start the day very early before the big trucks block up the whole street. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but we just keep going. It is a lot of phone calls and checking on inventory in the back. The office is pretty simple, nothing too special to look at, just a place where the work happens. We know most of the neighbors and the delivery guys around here by now. Samuel Street has its own rhythm, and we are just a small part of it. When the monsoon rain comes, the street gets quite messy and flooded, but that is just how it is in Mumbai. We drink a lot of chai while we sort out the orders. It gets incredibly noisy with all the carts outside, but you get used to it after a week or two. We are just Hari Om Traders, trying to get through the list of things to do before the sun finally goes down.
