Bluesea Work Wear

Down here at 140 I on Bora Bazar Street, things stay pretty busy most days of the week. We are right in the middle of the Fort area, so there is always noise from the street coming through the windows. Bluesea Work Wear isn’t a huge operation with fancy carpets or anything like that. It is just a shop where we handle clothes for people who actually have to get their hands dirty. My uncle started this place years ago and not much has changed since then. We have piles of heavy shirts and trousers stacked up on the wooden shelves. Sometimes the lights flicker a bit when the sewing machines are all running at once. It gets hot in the afternoons but we just keep the fans going. People stop by because they know we are usually here from early morning until the sun goes down. We don’t do much advertising or have a big sign out front. Most people find us just by walking down the street or hearing about us from someone else in the neighborhood. We try to keep the place organized but with all the fabric rolls and boxes, it’s a bit of a squeeze. If you come by, you’ll probably see us drinking tea or arguing about where the scissors went. It is just a normal local business doing what we do. We like being in Fort because everything is close by, even if the traffic is a mess.
