You can find us at the Ftansis Ivan Creado Chawl, number 1/3, in the Premnagar area of Kanjurmarg East. Our shop is a bit small and it’s always packed with electronics, wires, and various tools. Mumbai is a crowded city and our corner of it is no different. There is always noise coming from the street, but we’re used to working through it. We don't have a fancy display window with bright lights. Most of what you’ll see are workbenches and piles of things that need fixing. We like the challenge of taking something apart and figuring out why it doesn't turn on anymore. Sometimes we have to dig through old boxes to find a part that hasn't been made in years. It’s honest, manual work. The neighbors in Premnagar know us well. They bring in their broken fans, radios, and other gadgets. We don't always have a place for people to sit because the floor space is mostly taken up by boxes and equipment. We aren't trying to be a big corporate repair center. We’re just local people who know how to work with electronics. Some days the shop is quiet and we just organize our tools. Other days, everyone seems to have something broken at the same time. We’ve been at this chawl for a long time and we plan to stay right here doing what we do.
