To find us at V P Vashi & Company, you have to go to the Jehangir Building on Muglisara Main Road. We are situated on the third floor, which is right above where the Chicago Radio shop is. It is a well-known spot in the Variyavi Bhagal area of Fort. The building has that old architecture style with high ceilings and a staircase that can make you tired if the lift is not working. We spend our days surrounded by tall cabinets filled with files and ledgers. It is a very traditional setup. Most of our work is about sitting down and going through details carefully. We do not have any big signs outside or anything flashy. Usually, people find us because their fathers or grandfathers used to come here. The view from the third floor gives us a good look at the traffic on the main road below. It is always loud and bustling down there, but up here it is relatively quiet. We like the rhythm of this place. We start our day early with a cup of tea and stay until the work is finished. Sometimes that means staying late into the evening when the streets start to quiet down. We are not a big corporate firm; we are just a local company that has been doing the same thing for a long time. Our desks are a bit cluttered but we know exactly where everything is located.
