Universal Impex

Universal Impex is tucked away on the third floor of the Anand Rao Vakil Block, which is part of No. 23-E Dr. A. U. Memon Marg. If you are looking for us, you have to head up to room number 12, though some of the old paperwork mentions 204 or room 28 too. It can be a bit confusing for delivery guys who aren't used to the layout of these Mumbai buildings. Bj Marg is always humming with noise and people moving about, so once you step inside the block, it actually feels a bit quieter. Being on the third floor means a few stairs to climb, which keeps us moving I guess. We have been operating out of this space for some time, and it has everything we need without being over the top. The walls are a bit thin and you can hear the city outside, but that is just how it is in this neighborhood. We don't have a big lobby or a receptionist sitting at a desk. It is mostly just us working at our tables and trying to stay organized in a small room. This part of Mumbai, especially around Memon Marg, is pretty crowded, so we just focus on getting through the day. It is a practical setup for what we do at Universal Impex, and we don't feel the need for anything more polished than this. It is just a room where we get things done.
