We have been at Swastik Chambers in Chembur for a long time now. It is on the first floor, suite 102. People usually just call us Universal. We deal with construction machines and different types of equipment that builders need for their sites. It gets pretty busy around here with calls about mixers or lifters. It isn’t a fancy office, just a place where we get the paperwork done and talk to customers about what they need for their projects. Most of the guys who come in are local contractors or people working on housing jobs nearby. We keep things pretty straightforward. If someone needs a machine, we see if we have it or can get it. Sometimes the phones do not stop ringing and other times it is quiet enough to actually grab a tea downstairs. We are not trying to be some giant global firm, just keeping things moving from our spot in Chembur. The stairs up to the first floor can be a bit much if you are carrying heavy bags, but that is just how the building is. We know most of the regulars by name now. It is funny how you get used to the noise of the traffic outside while trying to discuss technical specs. We do not do big ads or anything like that. Word of mouth usually brings people to our door. It works for us. We just focus on getting the gear out to the sites where it is needed.
