Our place is located at Plot No 49 in the Panvel Industrial Estate. It is a big area with lots of sheds and trucks moving around all day long. Zoomlion India Pvt. Ltd. has been here for a while now. The roads around the estate get a bit dusty when it is dry, and when it rains, there are puddles everywhere you look. That is just how life in an industrial estate goes. We have a lot of space for our equipment and heavy machines. Most of the guys are out in the yard or in the workshop for the better part of the day. Panvel is a long way from the main city, so it is a bit of a commute for some of us, but we make it work. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too hot to handle. There is always something being moved or fixed in the yard. It is definitely not a quiet office job. We wear boots and high-vis vests because it is just part of the daily routine here. The gate is usually open during business hours if someone needs to drop something off. Sometimes we have tea breaks under the shade of the building. It is a straightforward operation. We do not have fancy carpets or glass walls. It is just concrete, steel, and people working. You can hear the noise from the other plots nearby too.
