Deep Machinery

You can find Deep Machinery at C/1, B/30 in Mahvir Nagar, Kandivali West. We are right across from the Om Palace Hotel, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us for the first time. The building is an older one, but it’s sturdy. We’ve got a shop floor that’s usually covered in metal shavings and oil. It’s a noisy business, especially when the grinders are going. We specialize in various types of machinery work. It’s just what we’ve always done. My uncle started this place years ago and taught me the trade. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. Just a small desk in the corner where we keep the bills and the phone. Most days are spent standing up, working on whatever machine needs fixing. Kandivali is a crowded place, and space is tight, so we have to be very careful about how we store things. Sometimes the traffic outside is so loud we can barely hear ourselves talk. We have a few guys who help out, mostly local boys who wanted to learn a skill. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to do a decent job so people come back next time. We take our lunch breaks together when things quiet down in the afternoon. It’s hard work, but it keeps us busy. That is how we have always operated.
