Uniform Unlimited

We are located in the Municipal Industrial Estate, specifically at units 39 and 40. It is right across from the Nehru Science Centre in Gandhi Nagar. If you are in Worli, it is easy to find us by the sound of the sewing machines running. We make uniforms. That has been our main thing for as long as I can remember. We have racks of fabric everywhere and the smell of steam irons is always in the air. It is an industrial estate, so it is not meant to be pretty or fancy. It is built for work. We have a lot of tailors and cutters who have been with us for decades now. They can cut a pattern without even thinking about it. We do uniforms for schools, hospitals, and all sorts of businesses around the country. Every order is a bit different, which keeps things interesting for the staff. Sometimes we have a huge rush and the whole floor is covered in scraps of blue or white cloth. We do not do big fancy presentations for our customers. We just show the samples and get to work on the order. It gets quite hot in the summer with all the machines running at once, but we keep the big fans going. We focus on making clothes that last because people have to wear them every single day. It is honest work. We are just making sure people have decent clothes to wear to their jobs.
