Umiyamato Crane Services

We run Umiyamato Crane Services out of Shop No 10 at Sangita Niwas. We are off S M Road in Goregaon East, right across from the Dena Bank. It is a handy spot because everyone knows where the bank is. Our shop is where we handle all the bookings and the maintenance schedules for the cranes. It isn't a place where we keep the big machines—they are usually out on job sites or parked in a larger yard. In the shop, we have our tools, some spare parts, and a lot of grease on the floor. The phone rings a lot with people needing a lift or asking about rates. We spend a lot of time checking the weather and the traffic reports because that affects how the cranes move. Goregaon is busy, so getting a crane through the streets takes a lot of planning. We are just a small team of people who know how to handle heavy lifting. Sometimes we are out late at a site and the shop stays closed until the morning. We don't have any fancy posters or a big marketing team. If you come by, you’ll probably find us wearing work clothes and looking over a site plan. It is hard work and the hours can be long, but we just get on with it and try to keep things safe for everyone.
