We are Consolidated Hoists. Our main office is currently in Mumbai, even though we have Pune in the name. We are located at 36B Flat-15 in Manish Nagar. It’s on J.P. Road in Andheri West. This part of Mumbai is always moving and the noise from the street never really stops. Being in a flat means it’s a small office. We deal with hoists and heavy lifting machinery, but we don't keep the big equipment here in Andheri. This is just where we do the billing and talk to the customers. The flat is on the upper floors so we get a bit of a breeze if we open the windows. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating deliveries and repairs. It can get stressful when things go wrong at a site, but we just handle it. We’ve been in this industry for a long time. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of employees. It's just a few of us making sure the orders are correct. We don't have any fancy mission statements or brochures. If you need a hoist, you call us and we tell you what we have. It’s straightforward business. We eat our lunch at our desks most days. Sometimes we go down to the local shops on J.P. Road if we need something. It’s just a regular workplace in a busy city.
