You can find us at Number 1/165 on Zakaria Bunder Road in Sewri. We are right next to the Majid, which is a good landmark because the streets here can get pretty confusing if you don't know them. Bardai Pvt. Ltd. has been in this building for quite some time. It’s one of those old Mumbai structures with high ceilings and thick walls. The office stays relatively cool, but we still have a few fans going all day. There’s always the sound of traffic and horns from the road outside, but you learn to tune it out after a week or two. Our workspace is pretty simple. We have some old wooden desks and a lot of ledgers. Even though things are moving to computers, we still seem to have a lot of paper around. The stairs up to the office are a bit narrow, and you have to be careful not to trip. We usually have a small tiffin break around one o’clock. It’s not a high-tech environment. It’s just a place where we come to do our business, talk to the suppliers, and make sure the orders are going out. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the walls a bit leaky, but we just move the desks away. It’s a bit of an old-school way of working, but it’s what we know. Sewri is a busy area, and we’re just part of the mix.
