The Canada Building is one of those old ones in Fort. You have to climb up to the third floor to find us. It’s right near Handloom House, which everyone knows. The stairs are a bit steep and the hallways are kind of dim. It’s got that old Mumbai feel to it. Working in Fort is always a bit chaotic with all the people and the traffic outside. Umesh D K Nande has been here for a good amount of time now. The office isn't very large, just enough space for the desk and some chairs for visitors. We deal with various papers and professional work throughout the day. Sometimes the light through the windows is quite nice in the afternoons. You can hear the sounds of the city constantly. It’s not a quiet place but it’s where we get things done. Most of the neighbors are also small offices or old businesses that have been here for decades. Getting lunch around here is easy because there are so many small stalls. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. Usually, it's just a matter of knocking on the door. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work being done. No need for anything extra or polished. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay organized among all the files. It's just a regular office life in a busy part of the town.
