I've been running this shop on SV Road in Borivali for quite a few years now. The address is 59, and it’s a spot most people in the neighborhood recognize. We aren't a huge store with fancy lighting and mirrors everywhere. It is a bit more basic than that. Every morning, I come in and roll up the metal shutters. The street is already loud with traffic by then. Inside, the space is filled with racks of clothes and various items we've brought in. Sometimes there are boxes stacked in the aisle because we just got a delivery and haven't had time to put everything away yet. I have a small wooden desk near the back where I keep my notebook and the calculator. It’s nothing special, just a place to sit. My assistant and I spend the day helping whoever walks in. Some people stay for a long time looking through everything, and others just want one specific thing. We don’t have a big marketing plan or anything. We just sell what we have on the shelves. In the afternoons, we usually get some tea from the stall across the road. It helps keep us going when the heat gets a bit much. The fans are always spinning, making that clicking sound. It’s just a regular shop where we just work to keep things moving. We like being part of the Borivali community. It is a simple way to make a living and we've been doing it for a long time now.
