Trimurti Arts is over at Plot No 1 in the Kantilal Compound on R J Marg. It’s in Andheri East, right near the Pump House. It is a bit of a maze getting back here if you aren't used to these old Mumbai industrial compounds. The building is called Ram Daver. Inside, things are pretty packed. We have art supplies, half-finished pieces, and a lot of wood and metal bits scattered around the floor. It’s a working space, so don’t expect a fancy gallery look. The walls have spots of paint and old calendars hanging on them. We get a lot of noise from the main road, but once you step inside the compound, it gets a little quieter, though you can still hear the machines from the shop next door. It’s been our home for a long time. The roof leaks a tiny bit when the monsoon really hits hard, so we have to move everything to the center of the room then. We usually have a pot of tea going in the corner for anyone who stops by. Most of our visitors are people who have been coming to us for years and they know exactly which lane to turn into. It’s just a small local spot where we get our work done and try to keep up with the orders that come through. Sometimes it is chaotic, but we manage to find what we need eventually. It is just us doing the daily grind here.
