Tradewell Communication

Tradewell Communication is based near Grant Road Marine Lines in Mumbai. Being in this part of the city means we are always surrounded by the rush of people coming from the railway station. The office is in an old building that has seen better days, and the stairs are a bit narrow and steep, but we like being in the heart of the city. We deal with communication equipment and cables, so there are usually wires and boxes scattered all over our small workspace. Mumbai is always humid, so we usually have a small fan blowing on us while we work through the piles of orders. We spend a lot of time on the phone or responding to messages, and the noise from the street below never really stops. It is a small team here, and we all have to do a bit of everything to keep things moving. Sometimes the trains are so loud that we have to pause our conversations for a second. We do not have a fancy corporate office or a boardroom, just a couple of tables and some chairs where we sit and get through the day's tasks. It is a busy, cramped way to work, but it is typical for a business in this part of Mumbai. We just try to keep the shipments going out on time and manage the daily bustle.
