A1 Compu Hire

A1 Compu Hire is based in Shop No. 14 at Harimarket. We are on 3rd Road. If you haven't been here before, Harimarket can be a bit of a squeeze. It is a busy market with shops packed close together. Our shop is quite small. We have shelves all the way to the ceiling filled with different parts and old boxes. There is a counter at the front where we talk to people. The floor is made of old tiles that are a bit cracked in the corners. We have a small stool behind the counter that squeaks every time you sit down. 3rd Road is always noisy with rickshaws and people shouting. We get a lot of dust from the road, so we have to wipe things down pretty often. It’s not a polished showroom like you see in the malls. It is just a practical place to work. We have a few old posters on the wall that have started to curl at the edges. The light inside is a bit dim, but we have a desk lamp for the close-up work. We know most of the other people who work in Harimarket. We say hello in the mornings and sometimes share a snack in the evening. It is a tight-knit place. We stay open until the market starts to quiet down, which is usually quite late. It is just a regular shop where we do our daily work and hope for a good day.
