Top Ten

Top Ten is located on Sahar Road in Andheri East. If you know that stretch, you know it stays busy almost all the time with people heading towards the station or the offices. The shop stays open from morning until late at night to catch the crowd. I spend a lot of time behind the counter. We have a lot of different phones on display, and usually, someone is asking to see a specific model they saw online. Sahar Road has a lot of energy, and we get a mix of office workers and locals popping in for a quick fix. The air conditioning works okay, which is good when the afternoon heat gets bad outside. We do a lot of small repairs too, like fixing charging ports or buttons that stopped working. I usually have the radio on low in the background while I work on a handset. It’s not a corporate place with uniforms or anything like that. We just wear what we want and talk to people like they are our neighbors. Sometimes the stock takes a while to arrive because of the traffic on the main road, but we manage somehow. I’ve lived in Andheri for most of my life, so I know a lot of the faces that walk past every day. It’s a steady job and the shop keeps me busy enough that the day goes by fast. We don't have a website or anything, people just know we are here.
