The Learning Curve, Ghatkopar

Living and working around Ghatkopar East means getting used to the constant buzz of 60 Feet Road. Our place, The Learning Curve, is tucked into the 128 Mahavir Bhavan Bungalow. It’s quite easy to find since we are right next to the Onyx Mithai Shop, which always smells like fresh snacks in the morning. Being opposite the State Bank of Maharashtra also helps people locate us when they get lost. The bungalow itself has a bit of an old-school feel that you don’t find in the newer apartment buildings around here. We have a front area where people usually drop off their bags or wait for a minute. Inside, the rooms are filled with toys and small chairs that we have to straighten up at least ten times a day. The staff mostly spends their time moving from one room to another, making sure everything is in its place. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud, but once you’re inside the gates of the bungalow, it feels a lot calmer. We keep a pot of tea going in the small kitchen area for when things get a little hectic. It isn't a massive corporate office or anything like that; it’s just a converted house where we spend our days. We try to keep the garden patches tidy, even if the city dust makes it hard. It’s a busy life here in Mumbai, but we’ve got our own little routine going.
