Telecom Center

Masjid Bunder Road is always a mess of people and carts, and that is exactly where Telecom Center is located. It is not the kind of place where you find much peace, especially with the shouting and the horns outside. Our shop is just a small spot among many others on this long road. We’ve been here for a long time, watching the buildings get older and the traffic get worse every single year. Most days, we spend our time behind the counter, dealing with whoever walks in off the street. There is no air conditioning, just a couple of old fans that move the hot air around. We mostly know the other shopkeepers nearby, and we often share tea from the stall at the corner. It is a busy life here. We don't have fancy displays or anything like that. Everything is just stacked where we can find it when someone asks. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but we just keep working by the light from the door. It is a bit cramped inside with all the boxes, but it’s what we have. We don’t really bother with big signs or anything. If you know the road, you eventually find us. It’s just a regular business in a very crowded part of the city, and that’s how we like to keep it. Anyway, we are usually here from morning until late evening.
