Our place is out on Mahakali Caves Road, right in the middle of the MIDC plots at number 3. It’s an industrial area, so it gets pretty hot and noisy with all the machines running. We work with plastics, making different parts and items that people need. The floor is usually covered in some kind of material and there is always a hum from the cooling fans. We’ve been in this spot for years and the building has seen better days, but the equipment inside does what it is supposed to do. Working in MIDC means dealing with the power cuts and the heavy trucks blocking the narrow roads all the time. Our crew is mostly local guys who have been with us for a long time. We don't do much in the way of fancy presentations or big corporate lunches. Usually, we just grab something from the canteen and get back to the production line. There is always a deadline or a truck waiting to be loaded with crates. Some days are smoother than others. When a machine breaks down, we all huddle around to fix it instead of calling in some expensive consultant. It is just how we operate at Techno Plastics. We stay busy, we make the parts, and we go home. It’s a straightforward way to make a living and we don't feel the need to dress it up.
