Tarang Electronic

We are located at Sakinaka Dhayari Phata, Pune J/5. This is Tarang Electronic. It’s a bit of a small place, really. We’ve got shelves full of parts and old gadgets that people brought in and forgot about. The floor isn't always the cleanest because people walk in and out all day from the dusty road. We mostly spend our time sitting at the back bench with a soldering iron. It’s a lot of fine work, looking at boards and trying to figure out why things won't turn on. The tea guy comes by twice a day, which is the best part of the morning. Dhayari Phata is a noisy area, always horns honking outside. Our shop sign is a bit faded now, but people still find us. We don’t have a big team, just a couple of us who know our way around a circuit. It gets hot in here during the summer because the fan makes too much noise if we turn it up high. We deal with all sorts of things, from small radios to bigger sets. It’s not a fancy showroom with glass cases. It’s just a workshop where we try to get things working again for the neighborhood folks. Sometimes the parts take a week to arrive, and we have to tell customers to wait. They usually don't mind. We just do what we can with what we have here in Pune.
