If you find yourself in Byculla on Love Lane, you can look for us at 3/125. Tara Telecom has been a part of this street for a while. Love Lane is a bit of a tucked-away spot but it stays busy enough for us. The shop is quite small, just enough room for a counter and some shelves. We mostly deal with phone repairs and selling SIM cards or top-ups. It’s a quiet kind of work, sitting there with small tools and tiny screws. Sometimes we get phones that are so old we can't find parts for them anymore. We have to tell the customers that it’s time for a new one. We carry a few basic models for people who don't want anything complicated. Byculla is a place with a lot of history and you can feel it in the old buildings around here. Our shop isn't new either. The paint is peeling a bit in the corners and the floor tiles are chipped. But it works for what we need. We get regulars who stop by just to say hello on their way home. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. It is just a local business where we know our customers. We try to be fair with what we charge for a repair. It’s just us doing our daily job in a small corner of Byculla, day in and day out.
