Systematic Electronics Pvt Ltd operates out of the Padmakar Compound in Poisar, which is in the Kajupada area of Mumbai. It is a busy industrial sort of area. There are lots of small workshops and different businesses all crammed together in this part of town. Our unit is at number 12. It is definitely not a quiet place, as there is always the sound of trucks or people moving heavy goods around. We have been here for quite a while now. The space is mostly filled with our tools and various components. It is certainly not a corporate office with carpets and glass walls. It is a real workspace where things actually get handled by hand. We spend most of our time dealing with the daily grind of the business. Mumbai is always fast, and this neighborhood is no different. Finding a place to park near the compound can be a real headache some mornings. We have a small crew of people who have been with us for years. We know the neighbors and the local tea stall guy pretty well. It is a very practical environment for us. We do not spend money on fancy decorations because it would not make much sense for the work we do. If you come by, you will see a lot of activity and probably some dust from the road. We just keep our heads down and work.
