Sabah Electronics

Sabah Electronics is located in the Hasina Zafruddin Chawl over in Ovri Pada, Dahisar East. It is a small shop in a busy part of the neighborhood. We have been here for several years now. The space is pretty packed with all sorts of electronic parts and old televisions. We do not have much room to move around, but we know where everything is. It is usually just one or two of us working here. Dahisar East is a place where everyone knows everyone else. People stop by to ask for advice or to get something small fixed. We do not charge much for the little things. The chawl can be noisy with the kids playing outside and the neighbors talking. We do not mind it. It is just part of being here. We do not really do the corporate style of business. We just talk to people like they are our neighbors, because they usually are. Sometimes we have to wait a few days for a part to arrive from the market. We tell people the truth about that. It is a simple life. We open up in the morning and close when the sun goes down. There is no big mystery to it. We just fix things and try to make a living. It is what we know how to do best. Our bench is old and the soldering iron is always hot.
