We are located on the first floor of the Sandhana Building on Narayan Dhuru Street. If you know this part of the city, you know how crowded it gets with all the carts and people moving goods. Our room is 105. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs, especially when we are carrying heavy samples or bags. The building is older, so it has that specific smell of old concrete and dust. Inside, we have shelves lining almost every wall. We deal with a lot of different items, so the inventory can get a bit overwhelming if we don't stay on top of it. Usually, there is someone on the phone and someone else checking the ledger. We aren't really into fancy decorations or anything. The floor is just plain, and we have a couple of ceiling fans that keep the air moving during the afternoon heat. It’s a very straightforward operation. We get the orders, we pack the stuff, and we send it out. Sometimes the street noise is so loud we have to shout a bit to hear each other, but you get used to it after a week. It’s a busy life here in the middle of the trade district. We don't have a lot of space for sitting around, so everyone is usually on their feet or leaning over a counter. It is honest work, and we have been doing it from this same spot for years now.
