Our place is at Plot No.D-11, specifically Flat No. 829 in the Om Sai Darshan Cooperative Housing Society. This is in Sector No 8 of Charkop, Kandivali West. It’s a bit of an unusual spot for a crane company since it’s inside a housing society, but that’s where we run things from. Most of our actual work happens out on construction sites across Mumbai, but this is where the paperwork and the planning get done. The office is basically a flat that we’ve set up with desks and some filing cabinets. It’s quiet compared to the sites we visit. We’ve got the regular sounds of the neighborhood around us, like kids playing or people heading to the market. Sometimes it’s a bit of a trek to get out here through the Kandivali traffic, but it’s been our base for a while. We don't have a big sign outside or a fancy entrance. You just come up to the flat like you were visiting a neighbor. We spend a lot of time looking at maps and checking schedules on the computer. It’s a lot of logistical work to make sure the cranes get to where they are needed without hitting too many traffic jams. The society is a decent place, and we try not to disturb the neighbors too much with our business talk. It’s a simple setup for a job that involves moving very heavy things. We just do the work.
