Sunrise Earthmovers

Our place, Sunrise Earthmovers, is located at Shop No 7 1/4 on the Sion Trombay Road. We are directly across from the Bezzola Complex in the Suman Nagar area of Chembur East. This is a very busy part of Mumbai, and the traffic on the road outside never seems to stop. We deal with parts and equipment for earthmoving machines, so things can get pretty greasy around here. The shop is more of a storeroom than a showroom. We have heavy metal parts stacked on pallets and shelves that go all the way to the top. It is not the most organized place in the world, but we know exactly where every bolt and gear is kept. We work with a lot of construction folks and contractors who need their machines back up and running as fast as possible. They usually come in with dirt on their boots and a lot of questions. We don't have a polished way of speaking; we just talk about the hardware and what needs to be done to fix it. We’ve been in Chembur for a while and have seen the flyovers and buildings go up all around us. It’s a lot of manual labor and staying late to finish up an order. We don't have any fancy office furniture, just a couple of stools and a heavy desk that can handle the weight of the parts we put on it.
