We are located on the second floor of a building in Kalina, specifically in Room 9 A near the Bhagwa Masjid. Sumya International is a small setup where we handle international trade and logistics. The room is often filled with stacks of papers and shipping documents. Being near the masjid means it can get quite crowded downstairs during prayer times, but we are used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. It is a busy part of Kalina, and there is always something going on outside. Inside the office, the fans are always on full speed to beat the humidity. We spend hours on the phone talking to different agents and checking on where shipments are located. It’s a lot of coordination work that keeps us on our toes. We don’t have any fancy furniture or decor; just sturdy desks and plenty of filing cabinets. Most of our day is spent typing out emails or filling out forms for the customs office. Sometimes a shipment gets delayed, and then it’s a lot of stress trying to figure out why. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, and we know all the local tea stalls and small eateries. It’s a practical workspace where we just focus on the job at hand. We don’t really do much to make the place look like a big company because that’s not who we are. It’s just a handful of us working hard every day.
