Sumita S Shukla

People often ask where we are, and it’s usually easiest to tell them to look for Reay Road Stn. We’ve been here at 8 Mazgaon for a while now, specifically on 12th Main in Hal 2nd Stage. It’s a busy spot near Narial Wadi, and you can hear the city moving all day long. Sumita S Shukla is just the name on the door, really. Most days it’s just about getting the work done and making sure things are handled. It’s not fancy or anything. The stairs can be a bit of a climb when it’s hot outside, but we’re used to it. The neighborhood has changed a lot, but this corner stays pretty much the same. Sometimes the tea stall nearby gets crowded, and that’s how we know it’s noon. We don’t do big ads or anything like that. People just find us or they know someone who knows us. It’s a small operation here in Mazgaon. We spend most of our time looking at files or talking to folks who drop by. It’s just regular work, the kind that keeps you busy from morning till the sun goes down. Nothing more to it than that. If you’re walking from the station, it’s not a long walk, but the traffic can be a mess sometimes. We like it here though. It’s home for the business and it works for us. It is just a plain office in a busy part of town.
