You can find Sumit Bearing Corporation at 7/B-120 on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Road. We are on the ground floor right in the middle of Sarafan Bazar. If you have ever walked through the bazar, you know how packed it gets with shoppers and vendors. Our shop is filled with rows and rows of bearings of all different sizes. There is always a faint smell of machine oil in the air, which is just part of the job. Being on the ground floor is lucky because those boxes of bearings can get heavy. We do not have a fancy display or a showroom. Most of our stock is kept in sturdy metal shelves that go all the way to the ceiling. We use a simple counter where we talk to people and figure out what part they need. The noise from the main road is constant, but we have gotten used to it over the years. People stop by looking for specific parts for their machines or vehicles, and we do our best to find them in the stacks. It is a bit cramped sometimes, especially when a new delivery arrives and we have to move things around. We do not have a website or a big marketing team. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for the bazar to wake up. Some days the dust from the road covers everything, so we keep a rag handy.
