This is where Sudhir Vinayak Mhapankar operates from, right on the first floor of the Pahelwan Estate in Asha Wadi. It’s situated on 90 Feet Road, which is almost always humming with activity. We’ve got a simple setup here. It’s not one of those modern glass buildings, but it works for us. There’s enough room for the files and the equipment we need to do our daily tasks. Most of the people who come here are regulars from the local area. We keep things pretty informal. If the door is open, someone is usually inside working on something. The 90 Feet Road area is pretty easy to navigate once you know where the landmarks are. We’ve been at this spot for quite a bit of time now. The light comes in nicely through the windows in the afternoon, though it can get a bit warm. We just put the fan on and keep going. It’s a practical space for a practical business. We don't spend much time worrying about how the place looks to outsiders. As long as the work gets done and the clients are okay, that’s what matters to us. You might see some boxes stacked in the corner, but that’s just how it goes when you’re busy. We’re just local people doing our bit. It’s a quiet life mostly, just staying on top of the paperwork and talking to neighbors. It gets a bit noisy during rush hour but we don't mind at all.
