Subhan Plastic

We are tucked away in Pvk Compound, Unit 29, over in Sakinaka. If you know the area, you know it’s mostly industrial sheds and small workshops. Subhan Plastic has been operating from this same unit for years. It’s not a large factory, just a decent-sized space where we have our machines running. The noise is constant once we start up in the morning. We make various plastic items, mostly things that other businesses need for their own products. It’s dusty work and the heat from the molding machines can be a lot in the summer. We have a small crew of workers who’ve been with us for a long time. They know the machines better than I do sometimes. We don’t really have a showroom or anything like that. People come directly to the gate if they want to talk about an order. We spend most of our time looking at molds and checking the output. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we spend half the day fixing it. That’s just part of the job. Sakinaka is always crowded, so getting trucks in and out of the compound takes some patience. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. It’s a simple setup, nothing fancy to look at, but it works for us. We have stayed in this compound because it is where we started and we know the other owners around here. It is just basic manufacturing without any big fuss.
