Straight Achievers

Straight Achievers is located in Borivali East, right inside the Manan Park Society. We’re at number 2 on Waghodiya Road. You’ll find us in the Parekh Shopping Centre, which is just opposite the Megha Handloom store. It’s a familiar spot for people who live around here. Our space is used for teaching and helping students with their studies. It’s not a massive academy with glass walls; it’s more like a collection of rooms with whiteboards and rows of benches. The shopping center can get a bit loud in the evenings when everyone is out doing their errands. We often have books and papers piled up on the main desk because there’s always something to grade or prepare. It’s a very hands-on environment. We don’t use any complicated technology, just markers and boards and a lot of talking. The rooms are a bit tight when a full group is here, but it makes for a focused atmosphere. We chose this location because it’s easy for the local kids to get to after school. Sometimes we stay late to help someone who is struggling with a topic, and the security guard usually has to remind us when it’s time to lock up the building. It’s just a simple, honest place where we try to pass on what we know. We don’t make a big deal out of it; we just do our best every day and keep things moving forward.
