Stiack Engineering Pvt.Ltd. is located in unit 203 of the Turf Estate, right on Shakti Mills Lane in Mahalaxmi (W). It’s an older estate, and it has that specific industrial feel to it. You can hear the sounds of machinery and traffic from the street coming through the windows. Our workshop and office are basically in the same area. It’s not the quietest place to work, but we’re used to it. We deal with engineering parts and designs, so there are always blueprints and metal scraps lying around. We don't have a cleaning crew that comes in every hour, so it looks like a place where work actually happens. The lighting isn't the best in the back, but we have lamps for the detailed stuff. We don't use any corporate talk about synergy or excellence. We just make sure the measurements are right and the parts fit together. If something breaks, we fix it. The guys on the shop floor have more experience than most people with degrees. We trust their hands more than any computer program. Getting to Shakti Mills Lane can be a bit of a hassle depending on the time of day, but we’ve been here long enough that we know the shortcuts. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office.
