Standard Transport

Standard Transport has been running out of Doshi Chamber for a good number of years now. We are up on the fifth floor, in room 509. If you know Dana Bunder, you know it’s a hectic place. Poona Street is always full of trucks and loaders moving stuff around. It gets pretty loud during the day, but that’s the nature of the transport business. We aren't some giant logistics firm with hundreds of offices. We’re just here in this one spot, keeping track of things. My desk is usually a mess of delivery notes and phone numbers scribbled on scraps of paper. It’s a busy life. We spend a lot of time on the phone making sure things are moving where they should be. Sometimes there are delays, or a driver gets stuck in traffic, and we have to figure it out on the fly. That’s just how it goes in this city. The office isn't much to look at, just some chairs and a few old cupboards for the files. We don't need much else to get the job done. We’ve known the other people in this building for ages. It’s a tight-knit group of businesses around here. We don't do much talking about what we do, we just get the trucks loaded and sent off. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know best. Every day is a bit different.
