Our place, Globe Logistics & Packers Pvt Ltd, is based in the MIDC area on Road No 7 at plot number 707. Working in an industrial zone like this means we are surrounded by factories and large warehouses, so there is always the sound of heavy machinery or trucks nearby. Our office is part of the warehouse setup, which makes it easy for us to keep an eye on the packing and loading. It’s a dusty environment and we usually have tape and cardboard boxes scattered all over the place. We don’t have a fancy lobby or any air conditioning in the main area, just a few sturdy fans to keep the air moving. Our day starts early with the arrival of the packing crews and we spend most of our time making sure everything is wrapped properly before it goes on the truck. The furniture is mostly metal and built to last, not to look good. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the best routes to take to avoid the city traffic. It’s a very practical way of working and we don’t spend time on marketing or trying to sound bigger than we are. We just focus on the boxes, the tape, and the trucks. If you come by plot 707, you’ll probably see us in our work clothes, busy with some shipment. It’s honest, manual work and we like it that way.
