Khilji Forging Works

We are located in the Kurla Scrap Association area, specifically along the Ghatkopar Panvel Link Road. If you go into Lohar Gali in Mankhurd Mandala, that’s where you’ll see our shop. It is a very industrial part of town, full of iron and heavy stuff. The air always smells a bit like smoke and metal. We do forging work, which means we spend a lot of time with heat and hammers. It’s loud and dirty work, to be honest. There is no air conditioning here, just the heat from the furnace and the sweat. We make parts that people need for their machines or construction. It’s been this way for a long time in Lohar Gali. Everyone around here is doing something with metal. We get our materials from the scrap market nearby sometimes. It’s a tough place to work, but we are used to it. The roads outside are usually dusty with all the trucks passing by. We don't have a fancy sign or a lobby. People who need forging work done know where the scrap association is. We just focus on the metal and making sure the shapes are right. Sometimes we have to redo a piece because it didn't come out right the first time. It’s just how forging goes. We keep the hammers moving and the fire burning throughout the day. It is hard work, but it is what we have done for years and we know it well.
