Standard Chartered Bank

We are located in Flat No. 508, which is in Building-7 of the Shree Durgadevi CHS. This is in the Gokuldham area, specifically the Bengali Compound. It’s a bit of a crowded spot in Mumbai, but it’s where we are set up. Most people think of banks as big buildings, but this is more of a local branch office where we handle things for Standard Chartered Bank. The building is part of a large cooperative housing society, so there are always people moving about. We have our desks and the usual banking equipment tucked into the flat. It’s a functional space. We don't have a lot of room for extra stuff, so we keep it organized. The commute here can be tough because of the narrow roads in the compound, but we’re used to it by now. We know the security guards and the other residents in the building. It feels very grounded. We don't have any flashy signs or neon lights. It’s just a regular door with the company name on it. Most of the time it’s just the sound of typing and people talking on the phone. We take our breaks at the small stalls nearby. It’s a very local way of doing things, far away from the big financial districts. We just show up and do our jobs. Sometimes the elevator in Building-7 acts up, so we take the stairs to the fifth floor.
