We operate out of Balasinor Society in Kandivali West. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the main market area. We’ve been handling different items here for a good amount of time. Being in a society means we know our neighbors well. It’s not a huge warehouse, just our office at number 46 where we manage the paperwork and the orders coming in. Dealing with imports and exports sounds fancy but mostly it’s just a lot of emails and phone calls. We spend a lot of time tracking shipments and making sure things land where they are supposed to. Sometimes the internet acts up and we get a bit behind, but we manage. We aren’t a big corporation with hundreds of staff. It’s just a few of us making sure the logistics work out. My uncle started this and now we just keep it going. We handle different types of goods depending on what the demand is. Kandivali has grown so much lately, and the traffic near the station can be a real headache, but we like it here. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy outside. Most of our work is done through contacts we’ve had for years. It’s about keeping things moving and making sure the documents are all in order. We drink a lot of tea while waiting for the customs agents to call back. It’s just our daily routine and we are used to the pace of things. Sometimes shipments get delayed, and we just have to explain that to folks.
