Sri Saravana Traders

Our office is in the Mahasagar building, room 203, over in Charkop. If you’ve been to Sector-4 in Kandivali West, you’ve probably passed by our building. It’s a standard commercial block with a lot of different businesses inside. We are traders, so our day involves a lot of phone calls and checking on shipments. The office is usually filled with samples of the things we trade. It gets a bit cluttered, to be honest. We have a small staff, and we all sit in the same room, so it can get a bit loud when everyone is on the phone at once. The elevators in the building are a bit slow, so we often just take the stairs if we aren't carrying anything heavy. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a good while now. We know the security guards and the other folks on our floor. It’s not the most modern office in Mumbai, but it works for us. We have a small kitchenette where we make lunch, and the smell of spices usually drifts into the hallway around noon. We don't have any big slogans or anything. We just try to get the orders right and keep the customers happy so they come back next time. Some days are stressful when deliveries are late, but that’s just the way the trading business goes. We just keep at it and hope for the best tomorrow.
